Man-Fishing-For-Dollar-Bills

Most Amazon FBA sellers flock to large, well-known stores like Walmart and Target for most of their sourcing. And while these behemoths can be profitable, they are also swarming with competition.

This list is not for the masses. This list is for those sellers looking for some fresh places to fish. This list consists of the best stores to source for Amazon FBA, hidden gems style.

These stores are all reseller-friendly and offer incredible profit opportunities. Plus, they are not nearly as “crowded” with other sellers, giving you even more of an advantage.

Get ready to discover some tremendous overlooked stores to add to your sourcing arsenal.

1. Going Going Gone

You may be surprised to know this is Dick’s Sporting Goods’ outlet/closeout retailer. Going Going Gone has many steeply discounted products in the sporting goods niche. This store has tons of high-margin resale opportunities.

2. Pokemon Center

In 2023, this has emerged as one of our most profitable suppliers. Pokemon Center is exceptional for sourcing seasonal items that cater to the millions of Pokemon enthusiasts globally.

3. DSW

Formerly Shoes.com, DSW not only offers designer shoes at appealing prices but is also renowned for its frequent and generous sales. On top of that, you can usually get great cashback from sites like Rakuten, plus there are ample discounted gift cards available almost all the time. Numbers 1 and 3 on this list happen to be our favorite sources for shoes.

4. Bobbi Brown Cosmetics

Quality makeup and skincare items from Bobbi Brown are always in demand.

5. Scheels

Unlike its competitor, Bass Pro Shops, Scheels is reseller-friendly. Scheels is absolutely massive. If you have never been to one in person, it’s worth the experience.

6. Pet Smart

This one might not be as “hidden” as others on the list, but it’s worth mentioning because of the incredible discount stacking opportunities. You can get excellent cashback (up to 20%) and great discounted gift cards for Pet Smart on a regular basis. Plus, they consistently run “buy 1, get 1 free” or “buy 2, get the 3rd free” deals.

7. Harry Potter Shop

An enchanting place filled with exclusive Harry Potter merchandise with a global fan following. We have placed several large orders with no cancelation issues.

8. Rite Aid

Often overshadowed by its larger counterparts, Walgreens and CVS, Rite Aid is a treasure trove waiting to be explored. Despite being overlooked, it consistently offers many good deals that savvy sellers can capitalize on.

9. Bali Bras

10. Victoria’s Secret

Both of these spots offer a unique advantage in the Amazon FBA space. It’s a fact that the majority of Amazon sellers are men, and many feel awkward purchasing bras and women’s underwear, resulting in these items often being overlooked.

While many sellers gravitate towards bigger, more popular retailers like Kohl’s or Macy’s for sourcing intimate items, Bali Bras and Victoria’s Secret provide less competition but equally enticing deals. In other words, a great place to “fish”!

If you haven’t sourced bras before, you are missing out. As an added bonus, they are lightweight, which means lower fees and higher profits.

11. Sierra

While it may be difficult to find large quantities at Sierra, its clearance section offers some of the best one-off deals available anywhere.

12. Corkcicle

Stylish drinkware is here to stay. Corkcicle offers many seasonal sales and a variety of items that sell profitably on Amazon.

13. Soda Stream

Tap into the growing DIY soda trend with Soda Stream’s machines and unique flavors. Bundling or unbundling items is an excellent strategy for this source.

14. Entirely Pets

A pet-focused store boasting a range from toys to health supplements. This profitable niche is skyrocketing in demand. People love their animals!

Cute Puppy

15. Saks Off 5th

Sourcing luxury for less is feasible, with high-end brands available at slashed prices here. One way to instantly increase profit margins is to raise your average selling price. Saks is a great place to find great products that will do just that.

16. Lululemon

Another premium brand that is reseller-friendly. Loyal customers are willing to pay high prices on Amazon for the popular brand.

17. Golf Apparel Shop

This hidden gem is off the radar even for most golfers, making it the perfect place to source. We’ve had the best luck sourcing the PGA Tour brand.

Tip: You can join their email list multiple times (with different email addresses) to get 15% off each order.

Girl Golfer

18. Als

This is your gift for reading this far. Als is one of our favorite off-the-beaten-path places to source. It’s easy to find profitable items in minutes almost any day of the year at Als.

19. Nautica

Have you picked up on the theme yet? Going straight to the brand’s source often yields the best results.

20. Maglite

Another quality brand name site.

21. Shop Disney

Good sales, strong brands, great discount stacking opportunities.

Walt Disney World

22. CPAP

One of the secrets to successful sourcing is diving into those “boring” or “unsexy” niches that address genuine needs. CPAP is a prime example of this, catering to sleep apnea equipment – a niche that might not initially grab attention but is essential for many.

To sweeten the pot, CPAP offers attractive seasonal sales on a regular basis.

23. Melissa & Doug

These children’s educational toys consistently draw attention, especially during the holiday season.

24. Wilson

Catering especially to sports like tennis and basketball, Wilson’s authentic gear is always sought after. One of our best-selling items of all time was an indoor basketball from Wilson.

Forty Percent Off

25. Amazon

We conclude with what might be the most overlooked source for Amazon FBA: the platform itself.

Amazon to Amazon flips represent a significant and often neglected strategy. While it may sound counterintuitive, this approach has been a game-changer for us, accounting for about 30% of our business this year.

However, a word of caution: never use Prime benefits to purchase items for resale, as it’s against Amazon’s terms of service. We recommend opening a separate Amazon business account, ideally with a different email address than your seller account.

Thanks for reading! With these hidden gems, you’ve now got some of the best stores to source for Amazon FBA, offering less competition and more winners for you. Happy sourcing!
